On Target

In position at the line

waiting for the right time

to let my arrow fly

and hit the target's bullseye.

 

Standing tall, ready to go

arrow in place, let's start the show

string drawn back

there can't be any slack.

 

Take a deep breath, it's time to let my arrow fly

counting in my head 1, 2, 3, goodbye

let it fly straight and true

to the target's gold centre the arrow flew.
