How To Make Apple Roses

Apple Roses

INGREDIENTS:

~ 1 frozen pastry sheet, thawed 20-30 min
~ 2  red organic apples
~ half lemon, juice
~ 1 tablespoon of flour, sprinkle on counter
~ 3 tablespoons of apricot jam
~ cinnamon (optional)
~ powder sugar for decorating!

INSTRUCTIONS:

Preheat oven 190 degrees C


1. Cut apples in half and take out cores
2. Slice apples 
3. Microwave apples for 3 min in lemon and water
4. Take pastry sheet and roll out a little thinner, cut into 6 long strips
5. Put 3 tablespoons of apricot jam
with 2 tablespoons of water in a bowl,
microwave 1 min and spread onto each pastry sheet

6.Drain apples 
7. Place apples on pastry and sprinkle cinnamon



8.Fold bottom of pastry up

9.Carefully fold inwards sealing pastry on the end.












10. Stand each rose up and put into a muffin tray.










11. Bake at 190 for 40-45mins or until the pastry is completely cooked through.


12. Sprinkle with icing sugar to serve.
